This course introduces students to selections of principal writings by some of the major thinkers in the history of western political theory. You will be docked one letter grade for assignments up to one-week late, and another letter grade for assignments up to two-weeks late. Students will be responsible for the assigned readings and material covered in lectures and tutorials during the first Fall term. Students arriving late should enter the classroom via a rear entrance to avoid disturbing other students and the lecturer.
